Educational Project
The educational project of Via Talentum Academy is a free and international curriculum school that includes both core and complementary subjects. The core subjects are: language arts, mathematics, science, history, geography, and Spanish. The complementary subjects include: programming, chess, neurowriting, introduction to calculus, introduction to medicine, introduction to astronomy, third language, Excel, leadership, entrepreneurship, art, among others (subject to specific requirements). All of this is enhanced by the implementation of the Advanced Placement (AP) program, endorsed by the College Board.

Our teaching methodologies are based on Universal Design for Learning (UDL), which means removing barriers to teach students to "learn how to learn." This involves a flexible and adaptable model; that is why we use various teaching strategies aimed at the understanding and learning of all students. All subjects from 1st grade to 12th grade include gamification criteria (the logic of video game incentives) and UDL in the structuring of content and assessments. Learning becomes a fun and ingenious activity through the exclusive VTA 4-phase methodology. In this way, we offer a more extensive and deeper curriculum that is nonetheless accessible thanks to the efficiency of our methodology. Neurowriting is an innovative subject based on Evelyn Aguilera's Smart Writing©. It develops self-regulation, self-discipline, willpower, and perseverance.
For Via Talentum Academy, learning the English language is fundamental. Therefore, the English subject follows the principles of natural language acquisition.
Chess at Via Talentum Academy is an online subject that promotes calculation, reading comprehension, strategy, logic, discipline, memory, and concentration.
Each unit of every subject will be evaluated, and each assessment will be considered an additional learning opportunity, eliminating the traditional grading logic.
