
Advanced Placement (AP) is a program in the United States and Canada created by College Board, which offers college-level curricula and examinations to high school students. For a high school course to have the designation, the course must be audited by the College Board to ensure that it meets the AP curriculum. If the course is approved, the school can use the AP designation and the course will be publicly listed in the Course Ledger.

VTA offers a full English curriculum for students who wish to pursue higher education at universities in the USA or for those who use English as their preferred language.
The curriculum consists of mandatory and elective subjects. Credits from mandatory subjects are required to pass the grade, while elective subjects provide a reserve of credits to pass the grade.
